Twin City Union FC drop a tough one at home to the Seattle Stars on Mothers Day.

Twin City Union hosted an undefeated Seattle Stars team Sunday afternoon at Tiger Stadium. While the rain held off the entire game, the Seattle Stars offense did not.

For most of the match it was very uneventful. In the first half, Twin City Union FC had 9 shots in the first half but only 2 on frame while the Stars had 3 shots with only 1 on target. None of those on frame goals found the back of the net.

In the 2nd half, both teams made significant adjustments to their lineups and formations to change things up. Seattle Stars saw the benefits to their adjustments first by seeing an increase in shots as well as earning a corner kick in the 53 minute. That corner kick chance ended in a lot of tense moments with the Stars claiming the first goal of the game. The Stars would tack on another in the 66th minute.

The Union Ladies did not go down with out creating some chances as well. They finished the 2nd half with 9 shots with 4 on frame. With a over half of the shots coming in the final 10 minutes of the match.
